The Geelong Ceramics Market was such a joy to be part of. Elizabeth and Rylie were super organised, great communicators and made participation easy from start to finish. The weekend was very well marketed and there was a great turn out with plenty of enthusiasm, but most thoughtful was the morning chai/coffee delivered to each stall holder ! I had the pleasure of being a stall holder at the 2023 Geelong ceramics market alongside some of the regions most talented artists.
There was a really diverse collection of people involved, from established artists to emerging makers. From start to finish the event was a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and community.
Libby and Riley did an amazing job of promoting the event. There was a line of people up the street eagerly waiting outside the venue anticipating the opening of the doors on both days.
In the lead up to the event, the organisers were always available to answer any questions and communicate relevant information to all the stall holders which made bumping into the market and being there both days hassle free and enjoyable.
It was my first market experience and a really positive and successful one.
I look forward to attending any future events these two are involved in and being apart of the local and larger ceramic community.
