Options for the 2024 Geelong Ceramics Market at Little Creatures
We are so excited that you will be joining us for our third ceramics market on 7th & 8th December 2024 at The Furphy Hall at Little Creatures. This page includes all of the useful information that you will need to participate in the market, including your registration form, conditions of participation and a link to process your registration fee. Your spot will be secured in the market once we have received your registration form and your registration fee has been paid (at the bottom of this page).
We have two different table sizes available and you can select your size when processing your registration fee below. The balance of table sizes was based on fitting in a good variety of artists, and some artists had requested a larger/smaller table.
The market will be open to the public from 11am to 4pm on the 7th & 8th of December.
Bump in will be available strictly during the following times:
9am-10pm Saturday 7th
Bump out by 5pm on Sunday 8th.
You will be sent a detailed bump in schedule and map for the day two weeks before the market with your exact bump in time. Access to the venue will be scattered to ensure a smooth bump in.
Tables will be set up and ready to go for you. You will be required to provide your own white table cloth – ensure this will cover the table to the floor with the table size you have selected below. You may bring you own small packing table(max 1m x 1m per 2m table) to sit behind your table for packing purposes only (not ceramics display).
To make the most of so many fantastic makers coming together we would also love your help to market the event and we will provide you with a marketing kit in the coming weeks that includes social media tiles and a marketing guide. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@geelongceramicsmarket.com
This is a collaborative and community event.
Conditions of Participation
-The aim of the market is to provide a venue for the sale of local, handmade ceramics and we ask that only ceramics are sold at this market.
-We ask that you not pack up early or arrive later than your allocated bump in time. If you need to have a break we ask that you organise someone to watch your stall for you.
-I will conduct myself in a professional manner, respecting other stallholders and customers. We promote a respectful environment at the market and encourage collaborations over competition.
-I will provide my own contactless payment system, eg. square reader and be responsible for my own cash takings and float, no change will be provided by the market organisers
-I will provide my own table cloth to completely cover the table to the ground and sides, the only storage available for you to store your excess stock will be under your table.
-You are welcome to provide your own small stool/chair but we ask that no additional free-standing shelves or signs are brought to the market. You will only have your designated table for a display. Market stalls look best when using props to elevate your products and create variation.
-You are responsible for your own packaging, customer carry bags and stationary.
-We ask that you take any rubbish with you at the end of the market, waste disposal is not included.
-There is limited access power-points and you are responsible for charging your own devices before the market. Bringing a charging bank or a backup device is a good idea!
-No registration fee refunds will be provided due to a change of mind or illness.
-The Market organisers have the right to refuse any product or stallholders not aligning to our conditions of participation.
-If you are running late or have any issues on the day we ask that you contact Elizabeth Bell / 0498 159 002 or Rylie Jabornik / 0431 223 414.
